So I somehow stumbled across a list of the warning signs of suicide (not because I’m feeling especially suicidal, so chill. I don’t even remember the whole chain of events that led me to the page…) and I made an interesting observation. Almost every item on the list seemed to describe the character traits we find and have found in artists for as long as we have recorded history. Mozart increased his alcohol intake (#8 on the list) and Kate Bush became a recluse (#9). There’s pretty much a pile of famous artists for every bullet point.

So… do I have to get to that point?

I hope not.
